PHILADELPHIA - Temple's women's tennis team started strong this past weekend at the 20th annual Cissie Leary Invitational.

> Rimpledeep Kaur lost a close match in her flight but played extremely hard for the Owls.
> Kristina Titova won three matches before losing in the semifinals of her flight.
> Alina Abdurakhimova lost a tough match and came back to win her next two matches.
