Golf Places 10th at Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge

QUECHEE, Vt. – Freshman Dawson Anders led Temple Golf on the final round of the Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge, carding a two-over 74, and the Owls finished their second tournament of the fall in 10th place (of 14 teams) Sunday. 

Keys to the Tournament
> Junior Trey Wren was the top overall finisher for Temple, shooting a five-over 149 to tie for 27th among the 91-player field.
> Anders was one stroke back with a six-over 150, tying for 31st.
> Junior Gary McCabe (+9), sophomore Marty McGuckin (+10) and redshirt junior John Barone (+11) rounded out the Owls five.
> Playing as individuals, junior Sam Soeth also finished six-over while freshman Liam McGrath was nine-over.
> Drexel won the tournament with a six-under 570, edging Princeton by one stroke. The Owls finished +30 (604) and tied with Hartford.

Notes
>The two-day, 36-hole tournament was held at the 6,765 par-72 Highland Course.
