SOLD OUT - Women's Basketball Faces #1 UConn at McGonigle Hall on Sunday

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team will face #1 UConn at home on Sunday at McGonigle Hall. The game starts at 1:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN2 with Tiffany Greene (pxp) and Sue Bird (analyst) on the call. Tickets are sold out, but a limited number of student tickets will be available at the door with Temple ID.
RING OF HONOR ADDITIONS
> 1920s standout Dora Lurie and stellar point guard Donna Kennedy will be inducted into the Temple Basketball Ring of Honor during halftime of the game.Â
> Lurie (1919-22) was the star player for Temple teams that posted 67 straight wins, including winning the 1922 Eastern Intercollegiate Championship.
