Mia Davis Earns American Weekly Honor Roll Nod

PHILADELPHIAÂ -- Temple sophomore Mia Davis earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for Monday, November 19.
Davis recorded back-to-back career performances as the bright spot in Temple's 0-2 week. At Ole Miss, she set a new career high with 22 points, also pulling down six rebounds, a team-high. At Marist, the forward notched a double-double, improving her career-best with 28 points, adding a game-high 11 rebounds. For the week, Davis averaged 25.0 points and 8.5 rebounds, shooting 51.4% (18-35) from the field, including a perfect 3-3 from long-range.
Temple heads south to Florida for the Miami Thanksgiving Classic. The Owls will face Redford on Friday at 1:00 p.m. and the #23 Hurricanes on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
