Football's Isaiah Wright Named AAC Special Teams Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA- For the second week in a row and the third time this season, WR Isaiah Wright has been named AAC Special Teams Player of the Week. In a 57-7 win against UConn, Wright took a 99-yard kick return untouched for a touchdown. He finished the game with 138 all-purpose yards and also rushed for an 18-yard touchdown. Wright has 976 combined kick return yards which ranks second in the nation. Wright became the only FBS player to score via rush, receiving, kickoff return and punt return  this season. He also became the only player to accomplish that feat in consecutive seasons in over a decade.
