Golf Closes Out Fall Season at City 6 Championship Saturday

GALLOWAY, N.J. – Temple Golf closes out its fall season Saturday at the City 6 Championship. The one-day, 18-hole tournament, which will feature five of Philadelphia's six Division I programs, will take place at the 6,804-yard, par-71 Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway Township, N.J.

Previewing the Owls

Senior Trey Wren, who leads the Owls with a 70.8 stroke average, is currently on a school-record streak of five sub-70 rounds.
Redshirt senior John Barone has had an impressive fall season as well, compiling a 71.4 stroke average over 14 rounds.
Redshirt junior Erik Reisner, senior Gary McCabe, senior Sam Soeth and sophomore Dawson Anders round out the Owls' six-man squad.

The Field

Temple, which won the 2016 City 6, will be looking to regain the championship after falling to Drexel last year by one stroke. Villanova is the host school with La Salle and Drexel also taking part this year.
Dawson Anders tees off first for Temple at 10:20 am with the rest of the Owls going at 10-minute intervals starting at 10:50.
