Mia Davis Named to American Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple sophomore Mia Davis was named to the American Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, December 10. The forward was also named Temple's Under Armour/Owlsports.com Athlete of the Week.
Davis averaged 24.3 points and 11.3 rebounds in a 1-2 week for the Owls. The forward picked up two double-doubles and was a rebound shy of a third, shooting 60.9% from the field and 62.5% from three for the week. At #16/14 DePaul, she led all players with 26 points and 11 rebounds, connecting on a career-high 4-of-5 from the field. In a win over Iona, Davis again led all players with 25 points and a season-best 14 rebounds. Wrapping up the week at 7-2 Villanova, she tallied 22 points and pulled down nine rebounds.
The Owls are back in action on Friday, December 21 playing at #24/22 South Carolina.
