Williamson Named AAC Freshman of the Week; Mayo on Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA -- After making her first career start, Temple rookie Alexa Williamson earns her first American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week honor. Joining Williamson on the conference list was sophomore Emani Mayo who picked up a Weekly Honor Roll nod.
WILLIAMSON DOUBLES UP
> Williamson notched her first career double-double as Temple topped La Salle 75-47.
> The post finished the game with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
> Her 11 points tied a career high for the rookie, while her 12 boards were a career best.
MAYO ALL OVER THE COURT
> Mayo stuffed her stat line with a game-best 18 points and six steals against La Salle.
> Her 18 points led all players, while her six steals was a career-best total.
> The guard shot 7-of-9 from the field, connecting on 3-of-4 from long range.
