Karli Hausman Joins Temple Athletics as Assistant AD of Marketing

PHILADELPHIA—Karli Hausman has joined the Temple Athletics staff as Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Engagement, announced Senior Associate AD of External Operations Scott Walcoff. Hausman comes to Temple after 11 years in a similar role at St. John's University.
"We are very excited to have Karli join the Temple family," said Walcoff. "She brings a tremendous amount of marketing experience to our team, and we look forward to having her implement a number of new creative ideas to enhance both our promotional outreach efforts and the gameday experience for our fans."
At St. John's, Hausman served as the Assistant AD for Marketing & Promotions. She was directly responsible for executing marketing plans, using her advertising experience with print, TV, digital and online efforts. Annually, she spearheaded the timeline of events and full implementation of the St. John's Red Storm Tip-off Midnight Madness event.
"I am thrilled to be joining the Temple Owls family," said Hausman. "I look forward to enhancing the gameday experience and tradition for our fans."
Hausman, a 2004 graduate of Kutztown University with a bachelor's in speech communication and a minor in public relations, obtained a master's degree in sport management from East Stroudsburg University in 2005. Prior to working at St. John's, she spent a year at the University of Tennessee as a Men's Athletics Sales and Marketing Assistant where she won the SEC Intern Award Grant for 2006-07.
Hausman completed internships at Villanova University in Athletic Marketing and Promotions and Lehigh University in Athletic Ticket Operations/Marketing and Promotions. She also spent her graduate career as an administrative assistant serving under the Athletic Director while also serving as an assistant softball coach at East Stroudsburg University. Hausman is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA).
