Men's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

3.2.18 | Men's Soccer

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University men's soccer will take the field this spring for five exhibition matches, announced first year head coach Brian Rowland.

"I am very excited to announce our Spring 2018 schedule," Rowland said.  "This marks the next phase in our team development, and being able to assess the team against quality opponents will provide the staff with valuable insights as we move forward.  The team has had a great few weeks of training thus far, and I expect us to continue to grow both as individuals and as a collective."

The Owls open spring play with a March 17 contest at Rutgers (noon). It marks the first of five consecutive weekends that the Cherry and White will take the field.   On March 25, Temple will travel to Lehigh and the following weekend (March 31) TU plays at George Mason.  Both matches are slated for 2:00 pm.

Temple will play two matches in the Philadelphia area in April with the first being a neutral site contest against city-rival Saint Joseph's at Penn on April 7 (4:30 pm).  The SJU game is part of the City Six Play Day.  The Owls conclude their spring schedule with an April 15 match against La Salle (1:00 pm) at the Temple Sports Complex.
