Second Round of Furman Intercollegiate suspended with Temple Golf tied for 19th

AIKEN, S.C.  – Liam McGrath and Erik Reisner led Temple with three-over 75s as the Owls were seven strokes better on day two of the Furman Intercollegiate Saturday.  The Owls are now tied for 19th in the 21-team field with three teams needing to complete the second round which was suspended due to lightning.

Tournament Notes
> Dawson Anders, who leads the Owls over the two days with an eight-over 152, is tied for 69th overall among the 120-player field.
> McGrath (t-86th) and Reisner (t-94th) each had three birdies on the day with Anders recording his third eagle to lead the field.
> Trey Wren and John Barone were one shot back of McGrath and Reisner on the day with four-over 76s.  Both are tied for 94th overall.
> North Florida continues to lead the field with a 13-under 563. West Virginia is the only other team below-par, 10 strokes behind UNF and in second with a three-under 573.
> UNF's Phillip Knowles (-7) holds a two-stroke lead over Shota Ozaki (James Madison) and Matt Lehman (Furman).

> The 54-hole tournament concludes Sunday.  The three teams, Charleston Southern, Presbyterian and Samford, will complete their final holes of round two at 9:00 a.m. before the third round commences.
