Temple Breaks SMR Record on Day Two of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - On day two of the Penn Relays, Temple track and field set yet another relay record at Franklin Field. The Owls' Sprint Medley Relay time of 3:54.53 topped the program's previous record of 3:56.77 set in 2015.
Sprint Medley Relay
> Comprised of sophomores Ebonee Jackson and Millie Howard and freshmen Mallorie Smith and Sydney Williams, Temple's relay team placed first in its heat and sixth overall.
> Clemson took the event title followed by UConn in second, Penn State in third, Duke in fourth and Middle Tennessee in fifth.
100m Hurdles
> Jackson was the sole Owl to represent Temple in the 100-meter hurdles. The sophomore walked off the track with a small personal best time of 13.91.

We have three more weeks left of the season and I think we'll see more great things from her by the time we reach the conference championship. Our sprint medley group as a whole is made of student-athletes that approach their races very positively and carry themselves well.
