Rowing's Forman Selected for World University Games

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple senior rower, Charlotte Forman, has been named to the USA rowing team for the World University Games. Forman will represent the United States in Shanghai, China from August 10-12.
"I'm really excited to be able to do this to represent my school and my team," said Forman. "I feel like it's showing future Temple rowers that they don't have to limit themselves to college rowing, there's something beyond it."
Forman has been a mainstay in the Owls' varsity eight boat throughout her career with Temple. This season, she earned silver medals with her boat at both the Murphy Cup and Kelly Cup Regattas. Forman earned bronze in the varsity eight at the American Athletic Conference Championships in 2016 and has competed at the famed Head of the Charles four times during her career.
USRowing has selected enough athletes to compete an eight, a four, and a pair at the World University Games. Forman will head to Michigan for training at the end of May and will be seat raced to determine her boat assignment.
