Tiffany Howard Promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations

PHILADELPHIA - Tiffany Howard, who has served as the Assistant Business Manager for Temple Athletics since September of 2013, has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations.Â
"This is a great opportunity to recognize Tiffany for her hard work and dedication to Temple,"" said Tim Thiess, Senior Associate Athletics Director for Finance and Administration. "Tiffany is a valuable member of our team and our department will continue to improve with her additional responsibilities."
"I want to thank Tim as well as our Athletic Director Dr. Patrick Kraft for this promotion," said Howard. "I love working for Temple Athletics and will continue to be a driver of fiscal and administrative responsibility in our department. I look forward to continuing my career as an Owl." Â
Howard came to Temple after serving two years as an accounting assistant at Indiana University. Howard's background in athletics includes a career in track & field at Indiana, where she was a Big Ten Champion in the shot put. She also placed seventh in the shot put at the 2012 Olympic Trials.
Before completing the first year of her master's program, Howard was an academic and student engagement intern for IU, and also spent two seasons as a volunteer assistant coach for the track & field team.
Howard earned her master's in business administration from Temple University in September of 2018. In 2013, Howard also earned a master's degree in kinesiology from IU with a concentration in Sport Management/Athletic Administration. She completed her bachelor's degree in kinesiology at IU in 2010, with a concentration in exercise science.
