Women’s Tennis Completes Day One of Cissie Leary Invite

PHILADELPHIA— Temple women's tennis competed at the Cissie Leary Invite, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. Day one was comprised of the first two rounds of singles and doubles in the main draw (Flights A and B) and the first round of singles in the back draw.
Notes
> Freshman Ruoyu Chen and junior Kristina Titova advance to the singles quarterfinals. Chen moves on after winning her second round match following a first round bye. Titova emerged victorious in both of her singles matches on the day.
> The Owls had great success in doubles, as three of their four pairings earned bids to the semifinals. The duos of Chen/Oleksandra Doroshenko, Cecilia Castelli/Oyku Boz, Titova/Stefaniya Surikova each won two matches on the day to move on in their brackets.
