Football's Dogbe Plays in East West Shrine Game; Armstead and Ya-Sin to Play in Senior Bowl

1.21.19 | Football

PHILADELPHIA- Temple Football alum defensive tackle Michael Dogbe played in the 94th annual East West Shrine Game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. this past weekend. Safety Delvon Randall was also invited to play in the game. Dogbe's East team fell to the West, 21-17.

Dogbe recorded two tackles, including one for loss in the game. His TFL came on the game's first play of the game. Throughout the week, Dogbe was praised for his versatility in practice and workouts. His combination of bull rushing and multiple pass rush moves left some of the best offensive linemen in the country in the dust during the week.

"It means everything to play in the East West Shrine game. The opportunity to compete at a high level was an awesome experience," said Dogbe. "To represent Temple Football was a tremendous honor because I got the chance to show our brand of football and what it means to be Temple TUFF."

Two other Temple players will be representing the Cherry and White in senior showcases ahead of the NFL Draft. RB Ryquell Armstead and CB Rock Ya-Sin will play in the Reese's Senior Bowl on January 26, 2019, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. Kickoff is at 2:30 pm ET and can be seen on NFL Network.
