Women’s Soccer Kicks Off Florida Road Trip at No. 21 UCF Thursday

PHILADELPHIA—Temple women's soccer (4-8-3, 2-4 AAC) will kick off its two-game road trip to Florida on Thursday, Oct. 17 at No. 21 UCF. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at the UCF Soccer and Track Complex.
Owl About Us
> The Cherry and White are led by head coach Seamus O'Connor, who is in his seventh season at the helm of the program.
> Temple is captained by junior Julia Dolan and seniors Morgan Basileo, Emily Keitel and Molly Tobin.
> Sophomore Hailey Gutowski's first collegiate brace against Houston earned her the top spot on Temple's offensive production lists. She now has 10 points (4g, 2a) on the season. Fellow sophomore Gabriela Johnson is another formidable component of the Owls attack, as she has tallied nine points (3g, 3a).
> Basileo has notched 101 saves through 15 games. This mark is good for fourth in the nation and first in the American. She has notched double-digit saves twice this season (8/22 at Wake Forest, 9/12 at Maryland). The senior captain owns a 1.34 goal against average, a 0.828 save percentage and has earned three shutouts.
> Gutowski earned her second AAC Weekly Honor Roll nod of the season on Oct. 14 for her explosive offensive performance against Houston.

> Temple women's soccer picked up a critical conference win on Sunday afternoon, downing Houston (3-11, 0-4 AAC), 2-0. The victory was backed by a second-half brace by Gutowski with assists from Johnson and senior Morgan Morocco.
> Basileo eclipsed the century mark against the Cougars, as her four saves pushed her season total to 101. The senior became the 12th goalkeeper in Temple history to record 100 saves in a season. Her efforts, along with the outstanding performance by the back line of Arryana Daniels, Bella Sorrentino and Keitel, earned the team its third shutout of the season.
