Women’s Soccer Heads to USF Sunday

PHILADELPHIA—Temple women's soccer (4-8-4, 2-4-1 AAC) will wrap up its Florida road trip at RV USF on Sunday, Oct. 20. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at USF's Corbett Stadium.
Owl About Us
> The Cherry and White are led by head coach Seamus O'Connor, who is in his seventh season at the helm of the program.
> Temple is captained by junior Julia Dolan and seniors Morgan Basileo, Emily Keitel and Molly Tobin.
> Sophomores Hailey Gutowski and Gabriela Johnson pace the Owls' offense with 10 points (4g, 2a) and nine points (3g, 3a), respectively. Junior Marissa DiGenova and senior Morgan Morocco are also formidable threats in the attacking third, as they have each dished out two assists on the season.

> Temple took on No. 21 UCF (8-2-3, 3-1-1 AAC) in Orlando on Thursday night, battling the Knights in a hard-fought, physical match that resulted in a 0-0 draw. The Owls defense and Basileo were outstanding in the road contest. Basileo notched 11 saves to help the Owls pick up a point on the road and earn her fourth shutout of the season.
> Temple's defensive organization and skill was the story of the match for the Owls. The squad executed its game plan and earned the draw against UCF due to a full team effort.
