Gorregues and Delmas Experience Success at ITA Northeast Regional

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Temple men's tennis team was in action at the ITA Northeast Regional Championship on Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 17-19, held at Penn. Freshman Marin Delmas and sophomore Louis Gorregues saw success for the Owls in the singles draw.
Notes
> The Owls were represented by Juan Araoz, Delmas, Thibault Frumholz and Gorregues.
> Delmas won two singles matches on Thursday to advance out of the qualification draw. The rookie won again on Friday to advance to the round of 64, before falling to second-seeded Karl Poling of Princeton.
> Gorregues also captured two singles victories on Thursday to move on to the main draw. The sophomore fell in the round of 128 to Columbia's Ritik Sundaram.
> Araoz and Gorregues teamed up in doubles action but could not make it out of the qualification draw.
> Delmas and Frumholz paired up in the first round of the main draw, falling to a duo from Boston University.
