Jones Earns First Career AAC Honor Roll Spot

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's basketball guard Ashley Jones was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, after shining in Temple's only game last week. This is the first career AAC weekly honor for the Philadelphia, Pa., native.

Jones led the Owls with 24 points in their road win at Bucknell. The redshirt sophomore went 10-for-18 from the field, including two from beyond the arc. Jones added five rebounds and two assists for Temple.

Temple is back in action with a pair of games in Cancun, Mexico on Thursday (vs. UNC) and Friday (vs. Creighton) at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.
