Jazmyn Estrella Garners ECAC Coaches Choice Weekly Honors

PHILADELPHIA—Gymnastics' Jazmyn Estrella has earned ECAC Coaches Choice weekly honors for her impressive performance in last weekend's Ken Anderson Invitational.
The junior came back from injury and competed on vault, bars and beam for Temple after just one day of training in the gym in the week leading up to the meet. Estrella's scores counted on all three events. Her return to the lineup had a significant impact, as she helped the team to a season-high score of 194.950. Estrella posted a 9.75 on vault, tied for the team-high on bars with a 9.775 and tied her career-best on beam with a 9.825.
Temple will be back in action on Saturday, March 2 as the team travels to Ohio State for a tri-meet matchup with the Buckeyes and the West Virginia Mountaineers. Competition is slated to begin at 4 p.m.

Rookie of the Week- Lindsay Chia (Yale)
