Women's Basketball Plays at #5 UConn on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team heads to #5 UConn on Saturday to take on the Huskies at Gampel Pavilion. The 1:00 p.m. game will be broadcast by SNY and ESPN3.
THE OWLS
> Temple is 8-14 overall (4-5 AAC) including 5-3 at home and 3-11 on the road.
> The Owls have won four straight games, the longest active win streak in the American Athletic Conference.Â
> Sophomore Mia Davis, the reigning Aonference Player of the Week, leads Temple on both ends of the floor, averaging 19.4 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
> Graduate student Alliya Butts is second on the team in scoring, with 15.5 points per game, while leading the Owls with averages of 4.5 assists and 2.1 steals per outing.
