The Temple Owls won a nail-biter over the USF Bulls, 86–83, at home on Tuesday evening.
Kaylah Turner led the team with 23 points, shooting 7-for-15 from the field and 4-for-5 from beyond the arc.
Saniyah Craig added a season-high 22 points, going 6-for-9 from the field and 10-for-13 at the free-throw line.
Jaleesa Molina scored 19 points while shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range—her most made threes in a game this season.
Tristen Taylor finished with 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting and went 4-for-8 from the free-throw line.

Scouting the 49ers

Charlotte finished last season with an overall record of 11–21 and went 4–14 in American Athletic Conference play, placing 11th. This year, the 49ers were picked to finish 10th in the conference according to the preseason poll.
