Doubles Pair of Casas and Wallner Moves Up to No. 20 in the Nation

PHILADELPHIA- The Temple men's tennis doubles pair of senior Alberto Caceres Casas and sophomore Mark Wallner moved up to No. 20 in the Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Rankings that were released on Wednesday, Feb. 8. They are also the top-ranked doubles team in the American Athletic Conference.
Casas and Wallner were previously ranked No. 23 following their strong fall campaign and they have not let up the momentum in the 2019 season. The duo is undefeated this spring, boasting a 5-0 record. They have earned wins against opponents from Old Dominion, South Carolina State, Cleveland State, Buffalo and Binghamton thus far.
The Owls will continue their spring slate on Sunday, Feb. 10 as they take on the VCU Rams. The match is set for a 7 p.m. start at Penn's Hecht Tennis Center.
