Men's Tennis Plays at Memphis Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA—Temple men's tennis (4-4, 0-0 AAC) will meet its first American Athletic Conference opponent of the season on Tuesday, March 5 as the team travels to Memphis (8-4, 0-0 AAC) to take on the Tigers. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.

The Owls
> The team is led by head coach Steve Mauro, who is in his 13th year at the helm of the men's program.
> Temple is coming off a 6-1 victory against Bucknell on Saturday, March 2.  The No. 33 doubles pair of Alberto Caceres Casas and Mark Wallner improved to 7-1 on the season and the team of Uladzimir Dorash and Paolo Cucalon moved to 6-2. Wallner, Cucalon, Juan Araoz, Eric Biscoveanu and Enzo Brida earned singles wins against the Bison. 

Scouting Memphis
> The Tigers are led by head coach Paul Goebel, who is in his 15th year at the helm of the program.
> The team is 8-4 on the season, boasting a 7-1 record at home. The Tigers are in the midst of a three-match losing streak.
> Memphis last competed on Sunday, Feb. 24 at No. 33 Harvard. The Tigers fell to the Crimson, 5-2.
> The doubles team of David Stevenson and Oscar Cutting is ranked No. 35 in the Oracle/ITA Division I Men's rankings.
