Monica Servidio Earns ECAC Coaches Choice Weekly Honors

PHILADELPHIA—Gymnastics' Monica Servidio has earned ECAC Coaches Choice weekly honors for her standout performance in Saturday's tri meet against No. 23 Ohio State and No. 24 West Virginia.
The sophomore had a significant impact on the Owls' lineup with her trademark consistency and high-level execution on all four events. She posted a 39.025 in the all-around competition and shattered her previous career best on bars with a 9.825. This is Servidio's second ECAC weekly honor of the season, as she was named Gymnast of the Week on Feb. 5.
Temple is back in action on Friday, March 8, as the team returns home to host Maryland, Southern Connecticut State and West Chester for Alumni Night. Competition is set to begin at 7 p.m.
