Women's Basketball Opens AAC Tournament on Friday

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team will open the 2019 American Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday night, battling Memphis at 8:00 p.m.on ESPN3. The Owls finished the regular season in a tie for fifth place and have earned the sixth seed in the tournament. The Tigers are the 11th seed.
THE OWLS
> #6 Temple enters the 2019 American Athletic Conference Tournament with an 11-18 overall record, including 7-9 in conference play.
> After starting conference play 0-5, the Owls went 7-4 in their last 11 American match-ups to close the season on a high note.
