PHILADELPHIA—The Temple women's tennis team (6-2, 0-0 AAC) continued its perfect home record (4-0) Thursday afternoon as it defeated Delaware 5-2 at the Legacy Tennis Center.
Notes
> Temple swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point. The pair of Alice Patch and Oyku Boz improved to 6-2 on the season and Ruoyu Chen and Chunan Xiang moved to 5-2.
> The team won four of the six singles matches to defeat the Blue Hens.
> The Owls clinched the match after victories from Kristina Titova at third singles, Yining Tian at sixth singles and Xiang at fourth singles. These wins gave Temple the 4-0 advantage.
> Delaware came out on top in the No. 2 spot. Chen edged out her Blue Hen opponent in a three-set contest at first singles and Delaware won at fifth singles to bring the final tally to 5-2.
