> The Owls held Vandy scoreless for the last 10 minutes and added a final goal by Hoffman with 3:33 to go.

Quotable - Head Coach Bonnie Rosen
> "Maryn had a really great day. She has fond memories of this field from a big win here two years ago. Shot-wise it was a pretty even day so her ability to make saves and pull the ball in off ground balls was a really big foundation to our whole game."

> "Our defense as a whole did a really nice job. When Vanderbilt made their few runs our defense tightened up again. Overall it was a collective team effort. We knew it would be a very tough battle. Our shooting was on par today but it certainly wasn't a perfect game which makes it even better to get the win."

> "The defense helped transition the ball, the offense adjusted nicely to Vanderbilt's defense and we had great contributions off the bench. It was a little bit of everything. The best part of the day was our ability to understand the game scenarios - how to use the clock and how to take momentum and keep it."
