Meet Highlights
> Brown got the NCAA East Prelims started for the Owls in the high jump. The 2019 American Athletic Conference runner-up had a smooth start in the event, clearing her opening height of 1.70m on her first attempt. After raising the bar to 1.75m, the sophomore soared over her second height on her third attempt. Missing all three jumps at 1.80m, Brown's final height of 1.75m was good for 16th overall.

The duo just missed qualifying for the quarterfinals by over a second, finishing 26th and 27th, respectively. The middle distance pair, which combined for five All-Conference performances during the 2018-19 school year, did not see their seasons end how they expected, but will be back for great things in the future.
From the Coach
> "It was a tough day for us in Jacksonville," said head coach Elvis Forde. "I know the girls are disappointed because they are so close to moving on to the next level, but nerves effected execution. It didn't turn out the way they wanted it to, but they are three outstanding student-athletes who will come back next year stronger from this. They had a great year and you can't take that away from them, and I look forward to seeing all that they accomplish over the next few years on the team."
