PHILADELPHIA — With less than a week before the 2019 Dad Vail Regatta, the Temple men's crew team had a solid showing in its last regular season race on the Schuylkill. The Owls grabbed numerous medals, including two of three golds, competing against Rutgers, Lehigh, Delaware, and Cornell on Saturday.

Varsity Eight
> Temple's top heavyweight boat raced past the competition, winning the four-team event in a time of 5:46.6.
> The Owls were eight seconds faster than second place Rutgers, while Lehigh and Delaware followed.

Second Varsity Eight
> Temple's 2V had similar results, out-pacing a four-boat field.
> The Owls finished in 5:56.8, five seconds ahead of Delaware with Rutgers and Lehigh trailing.

Third Varsity Eight/Frosh Eight
> In the final race of the day the #13 Cornell 3V grabbed the only non-Temple win, but two Owl boats were close behind.
> The Big Red won in 5:52.4, followed by Temple's 3V in 5:57.9, and the Owls' F8 in 6:01.1. Rutgers trailed to finish fourth.
