PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's rowing team will compete at the 81st racing of the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta this weekend. Temple will race on the two day Schuylkill River event on both Friday and Saturday.

> Temple returns to the Dad Vail event for the first time since the 2015 season because of previous conflicts with the American Athletic Conference Championships.
> The last time the Owls competed in the premier Schuylkill event, Temple's novice eight took gold in their event for the first time in program history.

> The Owls will race in eight events this weekend, fielding four eights (V8, 2V8, 3V8, F8), two fours (V4, 2V4), a pair, and a double.

Schedule
> The 2019 Dad Vail Regatta for the Owls begins on Friday with time trials for the freshman eight (7:32 a.m.), varsity four (8:32 a.m.), and varsity eight (9:08 a.m.).
