Dawson Anders Tied for Seventh after Third Round of the Eastern Amateur

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Rising junior Dawson Anders shot his second straight 66 and moved into a tie for seventh after the third day of competition at the Eastern Amateur.
Anders made four birdies to increase his total to 14 over the three rounds, tying for eighth overall. He had a bogey-free round and is now six-under, eight shots behind the leader Christopher White (Garden City, NY).
Trey Wren, a 2019 graduate, shot an even-par 70 and is tied for 15th overall with a four-under 206. Incoming freshman Graham Chase shot his second 69 of the tournament and stands tied for 37th with a one-over 211.
The final round at the Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club will commence Sunday. Chase (10:20 am) will tee off first with Wren (11:30 am) and Anders (12:10 pm) to follow.
