Anders, Chase Tie for 12th at the Eastern Amateur

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Rising junior Dawson Anders and incoming freshman Graham Chase tied for 12th at the Eastern Amateur which concluded Sunday at the Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club.
Chase turned in the best round of the day, a seven-under 63, to move up 25 spots on the final round of the four-day tournament. Anders, who had shot 66s on the previous two rounds, made a par 70 on the final day. The Owl duo shot a six-under 274, seven shots back of the tournament champion Hunter Ostrom (-13) from Notre Dame.
Graham had eight birdies during his final round and 19 total to rank tie for third among the field. Anders had three birdies on Sunday and 17 total for his four rounds.
Trey Wren, a 2019 graduate, had a tough five-over 75 Sunday and finished with a one-over 281 to tie for 38th overall.
