PHILADELPHIA – Head Coach Brian Quinn announced his 2019 Temple Golf fall schedule. The Owls will compete in five challenging tournaments capped by the City 6 Championship on November 9.
The Owls, which posted Top 10 finishes in all six fall tournaments in 2018, open their schedule at the Cornell Invitational on September 14-15. The Cherry and White will then travel to Davidson, N.C. to compete in the River Run Collegiate on Sept. 23-24.
Next up on the Owls' campaign is Firestone Invitational on Sept. 30, Oct. 1. Two weeks later Temple travels back to North Carolina to compete in the Phoenix Invitational in Burlington on Oct. 14-15. Last, but not least, is the City 6 as TU will look to defend its city title at Huntingdon Valley Country Club.
Quinn will be looking to replace five senior starters from the 2018-19 campaign. Leading the Owls returnees is sophomore Conor McGrath, who compiled a 75.70 stroke average over 23 rounds, and junior Dawson Anders, who is coming off a strong summer that included qualifying for the 2019 US Amateur. Temple also welcomes one of the top junior golfers in the state of North Carolina, freshman Graham Chase to the team.
