PHILADELPHIA - In its third-straight loss since opening the new year, the Temple men's basketball team fell 65-51 to Tulane Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Owls drop to 9-6 (1-3 AAC) on the season while the Green Wave improved to 10-6 (2-2 AAC).

Game Summary
> Redshirt freshman Arashma Parks earned his first career start for the Owls.
> Temple averaged 12.8 turnovers per game through the first 14 games, but had an uncharacteristically high number in the second half (10). The team finished with 18 turnovers in the game.
> Quinton Rose's 196th career steal early in the second half tied him for ninth all-time at Temple, with Rose sharing the spot with Lynn Greer and Aaron McKie.
> Rose led the team with 12 points as the only Owl to score in the double figures. Jordan Walker and Teshaun Hightower each scored 17 to lead both teams.
> Nate Pierre-Louis finished with a team-leading 11 boards, and was two points shy of his fourth double-double of the season.

First Half
> The Temple offense struggled against the Green Wave, trailing for much of the first half. Temple went on a 5-0 run to open the game, but Tulane quickly tied and took the lead.
> The Owls shot just 29 percent, with Tulane shooting 50 percent.
> The Green Wave went up by 12 with just under 30 seconds left in the half, but a free throw from Justyn Hamilton cut the lead and the Owls went into the locker room down 35-24.

Second Half
> The team's offensive struggles continued in the second half, shooting 33 percent.
> The Owls went on another early run in the second, but the Green Wave responded with 10 points.
> Tulane took its largest lead of the game (19) with just under 13 minutes left in the game, going up 49-30.
> Temple went on a 9-0 run over three minutes late in the contest to cut the Green Wave's lead to eight, but Tulane scored four to put the game away.
