Kevin Grady, a running back for Temple from 1973-75, passed away on January 8. He was 65.

Mr. Grady played in 31 games and rushed for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns on 195 carries. He also added 135 and three more scores on 12 receptions. He set the school record for longest run from scrimmage with an 84-yard run at Akron on October 18, 1975. That record stood for 40 years.

His family posted the following tribute…

Our dearest husband, father, brother, uncle and friend in Kevin passed away on January 8th, 2020 while surrounded by his unconditionally loving family.

He is and will forever live through his wife Leslie of 35 years and their two children Ryan and Alissa. Kevin was born to his parents Jerome and Marguerite and raised beside his siblings Sheila and Shawn. He is also endured through their loving and many kin.

With the wisdom as if he had done it all before, Kevin blessed us all with 65 years of memories, laughter and love. All too soon, he was called home.  With a humble soul; holidays, gatherings with family and friends, conversation, food, fun and life were Kevin's treasures. He was an inspirationally happy man, kind, wise of many words, many thoughts and many hopes.  For Kevin, "life was good" and forever he will remind us all that "life is good". Wherever, whenever and however you knew Kevin, know forever that he loves you, thanks you and will always be with you.
