Women’s Basketball to Take on Tulsa Wednesday Morning

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple women's basketball team will look to win their second-straight American Athletic Conference game as they welcome Tulsa to McGonigle Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 23 for an 11 a.m. tip-off.
THE OWLS
> Temple is coming off their first win of the season as they topped SMU 73-57 at home on Dec. 20. The Cherry and White enter Wednesday's game with a record of 1-3 (1-0 AAC).
> Senior Mia Davis averages a double-double of 23.8 points and 10.3 rebounds to lead the Owls.
> Senior Emani Mayo is the second leading scorer for Temple with 9.5 points per contest and adds 5.5 boards each game.
> Sophomore Asonah Alexander leads Temple in the assist column with 5.0 per game. The guard has also been a force on the boards, averaging 7.5 rebounds per outing.
> Graduate transfer Jada Graves has added a spark for Temple on both the offensive and defensive ends. The guard leads the Owls in both field goal percentage (56.3%) and steals (8).

> Rebecca Lescay totals a team-high six steals on the year, while averaging 11.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per night.
