Men's Basketball Falls at Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Temple men's basketball team fell 79-65 at Memphis Wednesday night. The Owls fall to 11-11 (3-7 AAC) with the loss while the Tigers improve to 17-5 (6-3 AAC).
Game Summary
> After missing four games due to injury, De'Vondre Perry returned to the court against the Tigers.
> Memphis led for the majority of the game, taking the lead in the first five minutes and never again trailing.
> The Temple offense struggled in the first half, faring better in the second but unable to take control of the game.
> Quinton Rose and Nate Pierre-Louis both scored 13 points to lead the team, with Lester Quinones' 21 points leading both.
> Rose's five steals were a season-high, just one short of tying his career high.
