Garin Earns ECAC Coaches Choice Honors

PHILADELPHIA—Gymnastics' Delaney Garin has earned ECAC Coaches Choice honors due to her resilience and grit across Temple's two meets this past weekend.
The junior captain had a solid meet on Friday as the Owls hosted Bowling Green, Penn and West Chester, but turned in an outstanding performance on Sunday to propel the Owls to their third-best team score in program history. Garin posted a 9.8 or above in all three of her events. She scored a 9.8 on bars, a 9.8 on beam to earn a share of the event title and a 9.825 on floor to tie for third place. Garin was instrumental in helping Temple to a season-high 49.1 on floor, which ties the fourth-best score in program history. She ended the week ranked first in the ECAC on beam.
