In the book of your life, what’s the title of the Temple chapter? In the book of my life, the title of the Temple chapter would be “The Time That Changed My Life.”

What’s the best part about being a member of the tennis team at Temple/what will you miss the most? The best part of being a member of the tennis team at Temple is having a great team that became a family. What I will miss the most is everyday practices, competing on a high level and traveling with the team.

What is your favorite memory of being a student-athlete at Temple? My favorite memory would be going to the conference tournament to Florida last year where we played some good matches and had a great time.

If you could give advice to your freshman year self, what would it be? I would tell myself to enjoy every moment while you are in college because these four years fly very fast.

Where do you see yourself in five years? It is a hard question to answer right now, but in five years, I see myself as a manager of a tennis academy.

I would like to say thank you to my parents for always helping and supporting me no matter what. I want to thank my mom, Natalia Doroshenko, who brought me to the courts and taught me how to play tennis. Also, I would like to say thank you to Andrei Lutsenko who was my coach back home before coming to America. I want to say thank you Coach Mauro and coach Girsang for recruiting me and giving an opportunity to be a part of this amazing program at Temple.Oleksandra Doroshenko,Temple Women's Tennis Class of 2020
