Women’s Tennis Set to Compete at ITA Regionals

PHILADELPHIA – Members of the Temple women's tennis team will compete in the ITA Regionals from Oct. 9 to Oct. 12. This will be Temple's third event of the fall season as Irmak Ozturk and Marianthi Christoforidou will kick things off for the Owls in the singles main draw on Friday.
SCOUTING TEMPLE
- Freshman Yasmin Costa shined for Temple during the Cissie Leary Invitational last weekend, with three-set wins on both Saturday and Sunday.
- Doubles teams for Friday include the pairings of Ozturk and Tianni Zhou, Thamara Kawaratani, and Maria Martinez teaming up with Nina Andreoni.
- In the first round of singles qualifiers, Andreoni will face Sasha Motlagh of Penn, while Kawaratani is set to face Ann Kato of FDU.
