The 2019-20 Most Improved Award goes to Gem Grimshaw!
A sophomore hailing from Marco Island, Fla., Grimshaw appeared in 25 matches for the Owls in 2019, playing in 82 sets. She racked up 220 total kills, tops on the team, averaging 2.68 per set. Grimshaw also averaged 2.39 digs per set, taking third on the team, while adding 23 total blocks. She showed huge improvements on both offense and defense from 2018, nearly doubling her kill totals in a year (114 to 220) and having over six times as many digs in 2019 (196) then she did in 2018 (32).
