The 2019-20 Most Player Award goes to Peyton Boyd!
Boyd finished the 2019 season with an All-Conference award from the American, the first of her career. She elevated her game in 2019, playing all six rotations for the Owls. Boyd averaged 2.82 kills and 1.60 digs per set, tallying 41 total blocks while hitting a team-best .294. She totaled nine matches with 10 or more kills and also had a pair of double-doubles this season.
Peyton took a huge step forward in her development this year. She was determined to get better as a player, not just on offense, but defense, with transition work, and passing, as well. She has this desire to be really good. Throughout the season, she established herself as our go-to offense player, and she became a dominant force for us and throughout the conference.
