2020 TUG Awards: Rookie of the Year

The 2020 Rookie of the Year is Madison Brooks! 

 

Hailing from Gainesville, Fla., Brooks had a stellar freshman year, contributing on vault, bars and beam all season for the Owls. She hit 9.8 or better on her three signature events, taking home three event titles. Brooks took home three All-ECAC honors, including a first-team nod on vault. She closed her tremendous season by earning ECAC Rookie of the Year honors.

We had high expectations for Madi, and she came to us with high expectations for herself! She has proven her worth to the team in more ways than just competition. Madi holds personal records above a 9.8 on Vault, Bars, and Beam already. She has been awarded the ECAC Rookie of the Year. She is a strong competitor, and a strong leader.  We believe Madi will continue to demand excellence from herself, and her teammates.  We are proud to announce Madi Brooks as the 2020 Temple Gymnastics Rookie of the Year.
