Faith Leary Named EAGL Co-Specialist of the Week

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple gymnastics senior Faith Leary made an impression in the Owls' first meet of the 2021 season, and for her efforts was named the Eastern Athletic Gymnastics League's (EAGL) Co-Specialist of the Week.
Leary made the most of her one time out on the floor in Saturday night's Ken Anderson Invitational, anchoring Temple's final event to the tune of a career-high 9.9. Her score gave her the first event title of the season for the Owls.
Leary joins an elite group of only nine Temple gymnasts in program history to ever score a 9.9 or better on floor.
Temple gymnastics is back in action this weekend, traveling to Towson for a quad meet.
