Women's Soccer Announces 2020-21 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA—Head Coach Nick Bochette has announced the Temple women's soccer's 2020-21 schedule. The season is highlighted by Philadelphia rivals in addition to the always challenging competition the Owls face in the American Athletic Conference.
"It's been a complex and difficult year for many reasons, but we're absolutely thrilled to be working toward a nearly-full schedule this spring. Thanks to the tireless work by our medical staff, administration, facilities staff, and others, we're inching closer to a full conference schedule with several quality non-conference games," said Bochette. "As we look for our program to grow and develop further, we will be challenged every step of the way. Our conference opponents demand a level of excellence that will force us to be at our very best, and quite frankly, we're chomping at the bit to get out there and give it a go."
Temple kicks off the season with an exhibition game against Seton Hall on Feb. 4, followed by the first regular season game at St. Joseph's on Feb. 7. Another exhibition game will be held on Feb. 10 at La Salle before the home opener on Valentine's Day versus UCF. The women then go on to face Villanova on Feb. 18.
The team wraps up February and moves into March with four straight American Athletic Conference games, starting with a trip down south to play the 2019 AAC Women's Soccer Champions, USF, on Feb. 21.
The Owls fly back up north to follow with two home matches against ECU and SMU on Feb. 28 and March 7 respectively. This first stretch of conference play concludes on the road at Cincinnati on March 14.
Temple will then cross the Delaware to New Jersey and take on NJIT on March 17 before the final two home games of the season. On March 21, Temple faces AAC action against Memphis before concluding home play against cross-city opponent, Drexel on March 24.
The Cherry and White wrap up the season with two away conference games. The first being on March 28 versus Tulsa and ending on April 3 against Houston.
