Women's Rowing Races Strong at the Head of the Charles

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Temple women's rowing team had a successful showing at the Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday. The Owls raced in the highly competitive championship four event.
TOP TEN
> Temple recorded a top-10 finish in the championship four event, which featured 14 boats.
> The Owls clocked in at 19:14:571 to take tenth place overall.
From the Coach
> "I am really pleased with our performance in Boston and was especially proud of how the athletes owned the experience from start to finish," head coach Rebecca Grzybowski said. "We stayed on the attack for the entire race - rowing long, aggressive strokes and sticking together. Lauren carved it up at every turn and the energy from the full team - on the shores of the Charles and back home in Philly - helped us put up a great race in a very competitive event. We are all looking forward to racing as a full team this weekend at the Schuylkill!"
