MEN'S CREW MEDALS AT THE HEAD OF THE SCHUYLKILL

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple men's crew team had a competitive day racing at the 2021 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. The Owls grabbed a bronze medal in the Men's Club Eight. The Owls competed in four events with a total of six boats racing down the Schuylkill River.
From the Coach
> "I was very pleased with the team wide performance today", said head coach Brian Perkins. "There is still much speed to be pulled from these Crews and our depth is finally starting to show. This was a great way to wrap up fall intercollegiate racing and get us ready for the Head of the Floody next week."
Men's Champ Four
> Temple had one boat compete in the champ four event. Temple recorded a time of 15:04.988. The Owls finished 30th in the event.
Men's Freshman Eight
>Temple had one entry in the freshman eight category. The Owls put up a competitive time in the event clocking in at 12:26.504. The Owls placed 4th out of 23 boats.
Men's Club Eight
>Temple had two boats in the club eight category.
> The Owls had a great day of racing while competing in a deep field of 36 boats.
>Temple "A" grabbed the bronze medal and clocked a time of 11:22:772.
>Temple "B" finished close behind in 5th place with a time of 11:32:011.
Men's Champ Eight
>The Owls had two entries compete in the champ eight category.
>Temple "A" placed 6th out of 23 boats with a time of 10:52.514
>Temple "B" finished in 12th with a time of 11:15:331.
