Men’s Soccer Ready to Duel USF

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's soccer team is set to take the field for an AAC matchup against the USF Bulls. The 7 p.m. match will be streamed live on ESPN+. Attendance is free to all fans.
LAST TIME OUT: PRINCETON 0, @ TEMPLE 2
> Temple claimed a victory over Princeton 2-0. The win is the first over an Ivy League opponent in head coach Brian Rowland's career.
> Chaim Roserie and Jalen Campbell both scored their first goals of the season.
> Keeper Liam Cummings had the best game of his career, racking up eight saves.

> Five out of six goal scorers for Temple are international players. Nigel Griffith and Mike Eijgendaal pace the squad with two apiece.

> Sal Mazzaferro is another name to watch. Mazzaferro is a leader of the USF defense after being named to the AAC All-Preseason team, he leads all players with 828 minutes for the Bulls.
> Bob Butehorn returns to helm the Bulls in his 5th season. Butehorn is 29-33-8 during his time with USF. He took the Bulls to the NCAA tournament in 2019 after a 10-7-1 season which featured a marquee win over No. 4 Louisville. In 2016 he took Florida Gulf Coast to the NCAA tournament where they defeated USF.
